AHSC #125

I love making Christmas cards and I love the CTMH White Pines paper pack. I'm participating in the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge  so I decided to play with White Pines again :) Inspiration : Interpretation : Supplies : CTMH White Pines paper pack CTMH Cranberry, White Colonial and Olive cardstock Spellbinders Standard Circles Large CTMH Red Shimmer Trim CTMH Christ is Born stamp set Thanks for looking :)

It's that time again...

...Christmastime! And also, Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge time. This is sketch 124: I was playing around with the scraps from my White Pines Workshop-On-The-Go this morning and I came up with this interpretation of the sketch: Supplies : CTMH White Pines paper pack CTMH Colonial White, Olive and Cranberry cardstock CTMH Olive ink CTMH Say It All stamp set CTMH Red shimmer trim CTMH Sparkles, Brown and Tan assortment Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia Random yellow bling for the centre of the poinsettia (think they may be called rain drops or something, but have no idea where they are from) I love the "Say It All" stamp set. I have used it a TON since I got it. Any time you need a small sentiment, it is the perfect fit. I especially love that all of the stamps are different fonts. Thanks for checking out my card!

Fabulous Friend!

Just a quick project! I took a plain notebook, and decorated it with some scraps! Combining retired papers and new stamps! :) Supplies : CTMH Balloon Ride paper pack CTMH cardstock: Cocoa and White Colonial SU! Chocolate Chip ink CTMH stamp sets: Hello, Life - Scrapbooking and Say It All Thanks for looking! :)

Paper Garden (LOVE THIS!)

I was beyond thrilled to see the September stamp of the month. I LOVE the look of silhouette flowers, always have. The first one I did with watercolours and watercolour paper. Make sure you let the paint dry before you stamp! I let mine dry overnight. I found that the paint/water combo sometimes warps the paper, but if you lay a book or something heavy on top of it, the paper flattens out again. But don't lay something on top while it is still wet!  :) I love the look of this card. So simple...the colours look like sunset, which is what I was aiming for. I almost think I don't want to give this card away! :) The second card I made was SUPER quick... like 5 minutes quick. I used some patterned paper from the Seaside paper pack, Colonial White cardstock, and Glacier, Black and Whisper inks. Both cards used the Paper Garden SOTM stamp set and the Say It All stamp set, which is a Hostess Rewards set.  Looking forward to posting some projects with some new CHRIS

New catalogues mean new creations!

*Drum roll please!* The first card I made was my first watercolour card with CTMH watercolours. I'm enjoying learning new watercolour techniques. Thanks, YouTube! :) My cards also showcase the National Stamping Month stamp collections: Hello, Life . There are 3 different C-sized sets, designed for Scrapbooking, Pocket Scrapbooking and Cardmaking. As you can see, I've used all three sets on my cards. These sets are only available for the month of September, and you can purchase them for $16.50 a piece, or you can get the entire collection for $41.50 (a savings of $8 when you buy all 3).
