"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous!"

(Coco Chanel) My best friend bought me a coffee mug last year for my birthday that says, "I'm not a shopaholic. I'm just really into stimulating the economy." Let's just say, that is so true! So when I came across this stamp set from Close to My Heart, I just had to have it.  This is my first card with the stamp set,  inspired by this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I remembered I had bought square cards from CTMH so, I got to work, and produced this. I'm really happy with the outcome. And I LOVE that stamp set just as much as I thought I would. Also, the plastic card was really fun (and super easy) to work with too. I don't usually like stamping with acrylic stamps...but CTMH produces an excellent product and I have absolutely no complaints! Supplies : Paper, Recollections paper (all) Stamp, Fashionista (CTMH) Clear square card, CTMH Embossing folder, Spots & Dots Spellbinders, Standard Circle and Lacey Circle Rub-on, Bazzill Basics

"Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action"

(To quote WJ Cameron) Yay! First project on my blog! It's a treat box, perfect for little Hershey's kisses!  I think I'm going to do a bunch for Thanksgiving dinner - perhaps as place cards?!  Who wouldn't enjoy this at the table? They are so cute and easy to do. The hardest part is deciding how you are going to decorate them. I'm planning to do a bunch for Christmas as well. I cannot wait to decorate those ones! I used the Flat-Backed Treat Box template from Splitcoaststampers (AWESOME resource!) Supplies : Ink - Stampin' Up, Crumb Cake Stamps - Recollections (Pumpkin vine), and Michael's Give Thanks Paper - Recollections Kraft Paper and Spice Market; Harvest printed paper, Wal-Mart;  Stampin' Up Very Vanilla Spellbinders Lacey Circles and Standard Circles Bling - Michael's

I don't like to blog, but...

(OMG. I'm blogging.) Really, the only reason I created this blog is so I can enter a paper crafting challenge ! I've always liked to keep journals, so this will be like...my journal to the world! (it sounded a lot better in my head! hahaha) And who knows, maybe I can conquer the world, one handmade greeting card at a time! TL
