Update, much?

Wow. It's been awhile since I last updated my blog!

We had another card class at work. The other girls designed two cards and I designed a little Easter basket using my Fancy Favor die. Common theme... butterflies! It wasn't on purpose either. Those who attended the workshop had a blast. Everyone likes creating something pretty :)

I received a CTMH order last week. I am SO happy with the products I ordered! I created a couple of things this weekend:

This is a card I created with the Buzz and Bumble paper pack (X7164B); the Quick Cards- Bumble Bee stamp (A1135) and the brown and tan glitter paper (Z1830). I also added some brown and tan sparkles (Z1753) after the picture was taken. This is an awesome paper pack. I wasn't so sure about it, but am so glad I ordered it anyway.

I also received this in my order last week: Fabulous You (C1533). I embossed this stamped image with gold embossing powder. It. Is. Beautiful. The picture does not do it justice. I used Spellbinders (circles and lacey circles) to cut this out. I gave these as thank you tags to customers who placed an order last month.

I also made a sympathy card using this tag. But I forgot to take a picture of it before I mailed it off! Ooops!

In CTMH News...

I'm super excited to say that I have fulfilled the requirements for the Bachelor, Masters and Ph D programs for the CTMH Training Academy. I learned how to do special scrapbooking and stamping techniques, as well as training to make my CTMH business a successful one.

The April special, for my customers only... Buy One Get One Half Price Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads (regular price $5.25). That means you get 2 stamp pads for $7.88 (plus tax and shipping).  Maximum 2 specials per customer.

Happy Thursday!

Merry Christmas Slimline

I did another card from this week's  Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge  (sketch #469). This time, I did a Christmas card! I used Gina K's woodgraining technique (you can find a tutorial here ). I also used Distress Frosted Crystal embossing powder; here's a close-up of the effect: For the snowflakes and the sentiment, I cut the shapes out twice and glued them together to make them thicker. Very happy with how this one turned out! :) Supplies : Dies: Merry Christmas sentiment (unbranded), Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Greens Mini, Pink & Main Stitched Slimline, SU! Did somebody say 'coffee'?

Happy sunshine-y Thursday everyone! It's a gorgeous day here in NS, and I'd much rather be outside on my deck drinking coffee, than at work, sitting at my desk, drinking coffee. But I digress... This is my entry into the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge  this week. I didn't want to do a traditional floral wreath, as depicted in the sketch, so I thought I'd branch out and try a coffee cup wreath? :) This card is also my entry in the Coffee Lovers Summer Blog Hop ! I discovered this blog hop just a few days ago, and I thought I'd create a coffee-themed card - because I am, in fact, a Coffee Lover! Supplies : SU!
